Packed full of sustainability tips and tricks, and covering minimalism, self-sufficiency and the swedish idea of 'Lagom' (just enough), these books will give the sustainability beginner everything they need to know. There are a lot of books on applying sustainable practices out there, but what I have personally found is that these four cover everything between them, with the minimum of repetition.
Now, having teamed up with The Bookshop in East Grinstead (an independent book shop I happen to work at part time!), we're able to bring these books to you in a perfect little box set.
Support indie book stores and give any book and nature lover the perfect book gift, or let someone know you're thinking of them by shipping directly to your giftee, so they get a surprise book bundle in the post. Please note, I will need some time to prepare the box (around a week), so if you need it urgently do message me and I'll see what I can do.
You can choose whether you would like all four books or to drop the Self-sufficiency Bible (the most expensive and biggest), and each set comes in a gift box with a card. If you would like me to write a message in the card, please include it in the comment box at checkout.
The titles included in this sustainability book box set are:
Live Green by Jen Chillingworth
Subtitled '52 steps for a more sustainable life', this book does what is says on the tin, combined into the cutest, most beautiful little book you ever did see.
Live Lagom by Anna Brones
A cute book featuring beautiful photography, this book will teach you why just enough of anything is all you will ever need, and will give you different eyes with which to see your stuff. Read my review here.
Minimal by Madeleine Olivia
A vlogger I have recommended watching before, Madeleine Olivia covers everything with this book, from making your own house-cleaning and hair supplies, to simplifying your life. Read my review here.
The New Complete Book of Self Sufficiency by John Seymour
Okay, so this one won't be for everyone, but it is incredible. Beautifully illustrated, it will help you to organise spaces, from urban gardens to five-acre holdings (we should be so lucky!), will help you to understand what to grow, how to plant, what to watch out for, how to make wine, how to keep bees . . . basically anything you ever wanted to know. I didn't review this book because, I'll be honest, this is not something you just read cover to cover! What it is is the perfect guide to self-sufficiency, and all you will ever need on the subject.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN ONLY SHIP THIS ITEM WITHIN THE UK.
