The birds in my garden

Ever since moving to the country, I've gained a much stronger understanding of nature. One of the things that has delighted me the most is the sheer amount of birds in our garden - and I've had to learn the names for all of them! It helps of course that I get commissions to work on things like The Bird Book (a pocket guide to identifying 50 different types of birds, released on May 27th 2021), but I have found that I've needed to repeat the names of things to myself rather a lot to remember everything! So, I thought I'd have a crack at listing the bird species we've seen so far, and perhaps it can help you out with identifying some too!

(we've heard them out there, but not seen them!)

What birds have you seen in your garden? Are there any I should really keep an eye out for in a Surrey garden?

As always, thanks for reading!
