Minimal by madeleine olivia: A #lovereading book review

Those of you who are signed up to my newsletter will have heard me talk about vlogger Madeleine Olivia once or twice. Vlogging on topics ranging from minimalism, interiors and renovations, to beauty, to vegan recipes, all with a sustainable focus, she is one of my favourite vloggers to watch. So, when she released this beautiful book Minimal: How to Simplify Your Life and Live Sustainably, I jumped wholeheartedly onto that bandwagon.

And I wasn't disappointed. Covering every topic you can possibly imagine in your beautiful new minimal, sustainable life, this book is the (accessible and easy-to-read) bible of minimalism and creating a more eco-friendly way of living.

This book is a how-to, a collection of knowledge, facts and tips, a compendium of recipes for beauty scrubs, lovely vegan meals and snacks, and house-cleaning supplies, a guide to sustainable travel . . . you name it, this book has it.

Perfect for beginners and a great starting place from which to organise your thoughts (I don't know about you, but I felt like I was all over the place when I first started my minimalism journey, tips and ideas were flying at me from all corners, and I started getting a bit overwhelmed, this book will help with that).

Out of everything I've read on minimalism and sustainability, this is easily the best thing I have come across . . . and all packaged in a beautiful hardback demy format that just begs to be picked up. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for reading
