Howell Illustration's Markets for March
March will see the start of the craft fair cycle. Last year I started Howell Illustration in July, so I'm looking forward to seeing what craft fairs are like as they begin in earnest. I went to my first one last week and it was a lovely one called The Handmade Affair at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking. It was well organised, there was plenty of space, it was all set in beautiful grounds and they handed out free chocolate to the sellers. This makes me hopeful for the rest of the year. After that, I immediately got to booking more for this year. I can tell you for certain that I'll be at the Surrey Hills Wood Fair in October, and at the Opus Wood and Craft Fair on the Somerset Levels in July, I'll be at Penshurst Place for the Weald of Kent Country Craft Show in May, at the Mansion Market in Forest Row, at the Support Local Popup in Tonbridge Wells in April, at the Lewes Craft Market, also in April, and several others I can't remember just at this second. You can join my newsletter for monthly updates of the markets I'll be at, as well as for tips and discussions on sustainability, art and nature. But, without further ado, here are my markets for March:

Saturday 2nd March, Forest Row Market
Forest Row, Surrey
Saturday 9th March, Mansion Market
Forest Row, Surrey
Friday 22nd + Saturday 23rd March, Keep It Local Craft Fair Coolings Nursery, Knockholt, Kent
Sunday 24th March, The Handmade Affair

I hope to see you there!
